Our Ministries
We think Vandament Avenue Baptist Church is one of the most exciting places to be in this day and age. We engage in many interesting ministries here. Opportunities to participate and serve the Lord include the following:
- Sunday school, and two worship services each Sunday.
- Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer meeting.
- Sunday afternoon nursing homes ministry.
- Children’s Church on Sunday and King’s Kids on Wednesday evening.
- A strong Youth Department and Young Adult Class.
- Bible college level courses at Vandament Avenue Baptist Bible Institute..
- Weekly Federal Prison ministry at El Reno, Oklahoma.
- A weekly visitation program.
- Monthly ladies’ meetings as well as a large Ladies’ Retreat each August.
- And so much more.
We want to issue an invitation to all who can, to personally attend services at Vandament Avenue Baptist Church. We are located at 400 W. Vandament Avenue in Yukon, Oklahoma. Our people are among the most friendly folks on earth, and I guarantee you will only be a stranger once. After that, you’re home folks!
Sunday school starts at 9:30 A.M.; morning worship is at 10:30. Sunday evening is at 6:00 P.M. and Wednesday services begin at 7:00 P.M. Come visit; we’ll be looking for you.
